What's Jacking Up Our Lives in 2018?

I've become quite the nerd these days.

Not because I have science background in nursing.

Not because I read every health and fitness article I can get my hands on,

And not because I'm a mom.

I've recently become a mega nerd, more nerdy than usual,

Because I feel called to serve this world in a bigger way in the health and fitness industry.

I don't know what I want to be when I grow up.

It's true.

I actually don't want to grow up. That part is optional, right?

But when I look at my legacy and how I'm impacting this world, this year I feel called bigger.

I started my career in nursing, and I've always loved teaching fitness.

Helping people is my MO.

But I'm also a fitness freak and foodie that loves to eat,

Which is why I went for my nutrition certification because if I didn't keep that in check, I'd probably be 500 lbs.

And ain't nobody going to tell me that I can't enjoy the sweats and treats of life in moderation!

But this past year, I went on a spree helping women take their business online so they could feel more freedom in their life.

All these areas of our personhood are connected.

But when people ask me what I do, I get kinda stumped.

Am I a Life Coach? A Trainer? A Nutritionist? A Parenting Expert? A Business Coach? A Productivity Expert? 

IIIIIII.. KINDAAA.. Teach it all.

Because it all overlaps.

My business training will tell me that I can't be a jack of all trades, but I struggle defining one thing that I can help you with.

Because if your health sucks, it all sucks.

If your relationships are failing, you don't care about being well.

If you're stressed about putting food on the table, you aren't making time for your workout.

Money. Love. Work. Confidence.. It's all connected.

The physical, psychosocial, social, and spiritual side of our lives is connected.

But often we try to fix just one area.

But where do you start when it's all jacked up?

That's the question I've been trying to answer.

And if things aren't somewhat jacked up, then you aren't pushing the boundaries in your life to want more.

Searching for these answers, led me on a path of combining my nursing, fitness, nutrition, and business backgrounds,

And creating an assessment form.

When I don't have the answers, I default to singing the song of my people.

Err..  I mean, asking my people to help me understand the trends.

What is jacking up our lives in 2018?

I'm not talking about poverty, or world disaster.

I'm blessed that my family, my clients, and my team are all pretty stable, working, middle to upper class professionals, 

Who have access to the things they need. 

So what else is causing us to feel bloated, stressed, weak, fuzzy headed, and off?

I'm on a mission to find out the trends in 2018.
